Happiness & well-being: assessments & descriptions:

1.My wellbeing at work is fine: How ?

Six dimensions detailed in more subcategories can define and help us to assess our wellbeing status / feeling at work (Abaidi-Ben Nasr) within a scale:
“Benevolence” (bienveillance), “recognition” (reconnaissance), “professional fulfilment” / human flourishing (épanouissement), “working atmosphere” / social climate (ambiance de travail), “working environment” (environnement de travail), “the role clarity” / job characteristics (caractéristiques du poste).

Wellbeing seems more complex and long term, dependent to external components we are sensitive to and receptive.
We can consider that the wellbeing describes interactions between who I am – my values, my genuineness, my aspirations, my satisfaction, – and the quality of my professional life and my job network / relationships, like a mirror that can’t lie.
So, how does it match ? Gap ? or Close ? What can I do as an employee ? as an employer ?
2.Or my happiness at work is fine ? How ?
My happiness is relevant to my life experience at work and the feeling / mood I can have at work, during one task, an activity, a project, or a meeting and it can change a lot, depending of when / what I live at the moment. Of course, wellbeing contributes to happiness and vice-versa.
To describe it, we can identify 3 components: « pleasure, engagement, sense » (Seligman); and
qualify our emotions among the 10 most common positive emotions to describe happiness:
« joy, gratitude, serenity, interest, hope, pride, amusement, inspiration, awe, and love » (Fredrickson)
(« joie, gratitude, sérénité, intérêt, espoir, fierté, amusement, inspiration, vénération et amour »)

We can also assess our happiness by using several scales.

So what are your most common / regular emotions at work, please ?
What can I do as an employee ? as an employer ?
What role can play my leader ?
